Step-by-Step Instructions
Preparation: Remove Dreams Food’s frozen cookie dough from the freezer (You don’t have to wait to thaw).
Oven Setup: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Placement: Place the frozen cookie dough directly onto the oven tray. You can choose to use a baking sheet or place the dough directly on the tray.
Baking: Once the oven is preheated, place the tray with the cookie dough inside the oven.
Bake Time: Bake for 10 minutes with heat from the bottom or until browned, then switch to heat from the top for an additional 2 minutes. (If your oven allows for simultaneous heating from both the top and bottom elements, you can turn them on together for about 10 minutes or until browned.)
Enjoy: Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool slightly before enjoying warm, freshly baked cookies straight from the oven!
Baking Tips
Crispy Cookies: If you prefer your cookies to be more crispy, you can adjust the baking temperature accordingly. Lowering the oven temperature slightly can help achieve a crispier texture. Additionally, after baking, you can leave the cookies in the oven for a couple of minutes after turning it off. This allows them to continue crisping up as the oven cools down.
Chewy Cookies: If you prefer your cookies to be more chewy, you can adjust the baking temperature in the opposite direction. Higher oven temperatures can promote a chewier texture. Once the cookies are baked, remove them directly from the oven and from the baking tray. Allowing them to cool on a wire rack will help preserve their chewiness.
Baking Sheet Placement: For optimal air circulation, avoid overcrowding the baking sheet. Leave enough space between each cookie to allow for even baking and expansion during cooking.
Oven Calibration: Use an oven thermometer to verify that your oven is heating to the correct temperature. Ovens can sometimes run hotter or cooler than the set temperature, which can affect baking times and results.
Storage Tips: Store any leftover baked cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to several days. If you prefer warm cookies, you can reheat them in the microwave for a few seconds before serving. Alternatively, you can reheat them in a pan on the stovetop over low heat for a few minutes until warmed through
